Abbott Furnace Company Joins the EPMA

European Powder Metallurgy Association

Abbott Furnace Company recently joined the EPMA, the European Powdered Metallurgy Association. The EPMA works to promote and develop Powdered Metal technology in Europe, to represent the European Powdered Metal industry within Europe and internationally, and to develop the future of Powdered Metal.

The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) was formed in Brussels in 1989, and has three key missions:

  • To Promote and Develop PM Technology in Europe
  • To Represent the European PM Industry within Europe and Internationally
  • To Develop the Future of PM

These are achieved using a variety of means, a selection of which are described on the EPMA Activities page. We at the EPMA serve all types of member organisations; from component, metal powder, and equipment producers to end-users, research centres, universities, and individuals who have an interest in PM.

Abbott Furnace Company designs and manufactures continuous belt industrial furnaces for heat treat, powdered metal, annealing, brazing, thick film processing, glass to metal seal, and fuel cells industries. It offers sintering furnaces, continuous belt brazing furnaces, heat treat furnaces, steam treat furnaces, industrial ovens and industrial furnaces, quality delube processors, nitrogen moisturizing systems; thermal powder processors, lab furnaces, and rotary table parts accumulators. The company also provides industrial furnace replacement spare parts and components, and furnace consulting services; analytical and furnace component repair services.
